Согласно архивным документам Школа № 32 г.Нижнего Тагила ведет образовательную деятельность с 7 сентября 1936 года.
Учредителем Учреждения является муниципальное образование город Нижний Тагил.
Функции и полномочия учредителя Учреждения при его создании от имени Администрации города Нижний Тагил осуществляет управление образования Администрации города Нижний Тагил.

Обучение осуществляется в одну (первую) смену. Начало занятий - в 8.40 час, окончание - в 14.40 час.
